For Bidder Pricing FAQs

How much does it cost to sell on BidRush?
BidRush charges just 12% of the sold price. There are no setup fees, no monthly fees, and no minimums. Sellers are also responsible for Stripe’s payment processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 per invoice).
Can I charge a Buyer’s Premium?
Yes! You can choose to charge a Buyer’s Premium on your auctions, and you keep 100% of it. BidRush does not take a cut from the Buyer’s Premium.
How do I get paid?
Payments are processed through Stripe. Funds are deposited directly into your connected Stripe account once the auction is completed and invoices are paid.
Do I need to ship items?
No. BidRush is primarily local pickup-based. You’ll include pickup details when you create your auction. You only need to handle shipping if you explicitly offer it.
Can I control when and where pickup happens?
Yes. You set the pickup date, time, and location when creating the auction. The exact address is only revealed to winning bidders for privacy.
Is there a limit on how many items I can list?
No. There are no listing limits or minimums. You can auction one item or a full estate. The platform is built to scale with you.
Do I need special tools or training to start?
No. BidRush is fully self-serve and easy to use. You can launch an auction in under an hour.
Can I cancel or edit an auction after it starts?
Auctions can only be canceled or items removed before invoices are issued. However, we strongly discourage canceling auctions or removing items once bidding has started. Doing so erodes bidder trust and could result in penalties, including removal from the platform. BidRush is built on fairness and reliability—consistent seller behavior helps keep buyers engaged and returning.
Is there a setup fee, monthly fee, or minimum number of items to list?
No. There are no setup fees, no monthly subscriptions, and no minimum item requirements to sell on BidRush. Whether you’re listing a single item or running a full estate auction, you only pay when something sells.
Can I set a reserve price on my items?
Yes, you can set a reserve price (a minimum amount that must be met for the item to sell). However, we discourage using reserves unless absolutely necessary—reserves can reduce bidder engagement and increase the chances of your item going unsold. Sellers often have better success letting the market decide the final value.

For Bidder Pricing FAQs

How is the final price determined?
The final price includes the winning bid amount, plus any Buyer’s Premium set by the seller, and applicable taxes. All charges are clearly shown before you confirm your bid.
What is a Buyer’s Premium?
A Buyer’s Premium is an optional fee set by the seller, typically as a percentage of the winning bid. If applied, it will be added to the final price and is shown clearly on each auction page.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. BidRush is fully transparent. Any applicable Buyer’s Premium and taxes are shown before you place a bid—no hidden platform or surprise fees.
How do I pay for my winning bid?
After the auction closes, you’ll receive an invoice with a full breakdown of the amount due. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, using the payment method in your account.
Can I change my bid after submitting it?
No. Once submitted, bids are final and binding. Please double-check your bid amount before confirming.
What currency are the prices listed in?
Prices are listed in the local currency of the auction, as shown in the auction details. If you’re bidding from another region, your bank or credit card provider may apply a currency conversion.
Is tax included in the final price?
Taxes are not included in the bid amount and will be calculated and added to your invoice based on the location of the auction and applicable tax laws.
What if I don’t pay for my winning bid?
Non-payment may result in account suspension, loss of bidding privileges, and potential legal consequences. Only place bids if you are prepared to complete the purchase.
What is a Max Bid, and why was I outbid automatically?
When you place a Max Bid, you're telling the system the maximum amount you're willing to pay. BidRush’s platform will then automatically bid on your behalf, just enough to keep you in the lead, up to your maximum. If another bidder has already placed a higher Max Bid, you may be immediately outbid—even if your bid was higher than the current price. You’ll only be charged the minimum needed to win, not your full Max Bid (unless required).
How does pickup work after I win an auction?
Each auction includes details about the pickup location and time. After winning, you’ll receive an invoice that includes pickup instructions. It's your responsibility to collect your items within the stated window, so please review the auction terms carefully before bidding.
Why isn’t the pickup address shown before bidding?
To protect seller privacy, some auctions don’t display the full pickup address until the auction ends. If you're the winning bidder, the address will be included in your invoice or follow-up email. You’ll still see the general area (e.g., city or postal code) in advance to help you decide whether you’re comfortable bidding.
