Where to Find Closing Times
Every auction page clearly lists the closing dates and times (you can also find the tax and buyer's premium (if set by the seller) at the same place. Buyers Premium is a fee that sellers set and keep unlike other companies where it goes to the platform. In an economy where every dollar counts, the BidRush model ensures both sides of the marketplace benefit: Buyers save thousands. Sellers keep more. Local communities stay stronger. When fees are fair, everybody wins.

Staggered Closings
Auctions often feature staggered closings, meaning four lots close every minute so you can focus on the items you want without rushing. You can access Your Watchlist and Your Bids to bid right from that page.
Pickup Time and Location
Pickup details such as the date, time and location are listed on the auction page (see screenshot above). Sometimes the seller wants privacy and the pickup address is not visible but it will be found in your invoice page after the auction ends. Review them carefully to plan your pickup. Pickups are usually scheduled within a day or two after the close. And there are no alternate pickup times, and there is no shipping unless stated clearly by the seller in the auction.
How Maximum (Absentee) Bidding Works
You can enter your maximum bid — the highest you’re willing to pay. The system will automatically bid on your behalf, only raising your bid when necessary and never above your max, which stays private. You’re only charged if you win. You will enter this amount in the same spot as where you enter your bid (it won't raise the bids automatically to your maximum bid unless there is another bidder who has also set a maximum bid amount).
Staggered Closings
Instead of everything ending at once, lots close in small groups, typically four lots every minute. This gives you time to bid on multiple items without overlap.
Bid Extension
If someone places a bid within the final minute, that lot’s timer will extend by three minutes. This ensures everyone has a fair chance to place their final bid.
Pro Tip: Set your maximum bids early, check your pickup details, and enjoy seeing your treasures won fair and square!
